The settings on this machine are very simple and easy to use. There's a lot of great options for size/fabric etc. I've used this machine for a month and am very happy with it so far.

I absolutely HATE this washer machine ...The digital panel has to be rebooted by unplugging it several times this has happen...and it leaves marks on my dark clothes like a chalky residue...Give me back my 40+ Kenmore washer

The first thing we noticed is that our water pipes are no longer slamming when the washer is filling, which was really annoying. Overall the machine just seems better built and sturdy, no more noisy or vibrating spin cycle. Our clothes are also cleaner. The previous washer had a larger tub and did not fill with enough water to wash all of the cloths so we really like the smaller but way more efficient capacity size.

So far the wash is ok, but I don't like the short wash cycles. Perm press is only about 10 minutes, heavy duty is about 19-20. I have watched videos online and wash cycles are longer than mine. I hate the lid lock, I have had to check the water level on auto and pretend to add clothes to add water on large loads because only the bottom half of the load is in water. That's no better than my front load. Using long cycles and full tub the wash has gotten stains out, like blood, so that's been good. I really want to love this machine, but am still on the fence. When I saw cycles at 19 minutes I thought that meant it washed 19 minutes. Not true. That's starts the moment the water turns on until it spins out. Very deceiving.

We have gone through several washers in the last 12 years and they just haven't worked very well. The clothes weren't getting clean and the washers kept having balance issues or electrical problems. This washer actually cleans my kids dirty farm clothes! It makes laundry so much faster!

Machine is so much faster then my old LG. Only thing I don't care for is the fabric softener that goes in the middle occasionally leaks onto the clothing.I cannot figure out why it does that.

I am enjoying my new Speed Queen Washer. It's simple to operate. My selection is usually permanent press ( everyday wash) or towels ( heavy duty).
The autofill is a welcomed feature. It takes the guest work out the amount of water needed to do the wash. Bottom line...My clothes are clean!

The First Automatic Washer and Drier My Parents had were Speed Queens (Front Loaders)
that was early 1960s. Every Laundromat in my town employed Speed Queens!
Back then they were durable and always a bit pricey but the competition were building pretty good products too. basically because for a few decades, they were built in the USA. Well, things changed for most all of the competitors. Not Speed Queen. they still stand the test of time. Old school of "keep it simple stupid!" The Clothes come out clean. The wash cycles have a soothing sound like a subtle set of waves onto the shore of a large lake. Water is spun out so fast the clothes are near dry.

The only thing that I would like it to have is a way to see how much longer the cycle is before the clothes are done, but I love how much quieter it is than my previous machine. I had a front loader before, which I liked because I am short and I have to really stretch to reach items in the bottom of the tub of the top loader, but I don't mind because I love the big deep tub.

OMG. This washer is SO FAST! The machine it replaced took forever to wash our clothes, but I THOUGHT it was doing a good job. Now that I have my new Speed Queen washer, I realize that it wasn't that great and my new machine takes less than half the time to do a better job! I LOVE IT. I was hesitant at first because it didn't seem to be as big or "large capacity" like what it replaced, but so far, it has washed every load and done an excellent job.

It does a better job than the other top-load brands. The center agitator definitely makes a difference. My mom purchased an SQ about two years ago and swore by it. So, I was done fixing my other brand top loader with a new bearing and shaft for the third time. This cleans the laundry in a shorter period of time and and believe clothes are more thoroughly cleaned and somehow softer.

After purchasing other brands of washers over the years and going to the laundry mat to use there Speed Queen Brand machines that have been there for decades and those machines are still going strong, I finally realised I could stop wasting money on inferior brands machines, and own an American Made Speed Queen for my home. We ditched our old smart washer,that washed our clothes in 6 inches of water. We had to
wash them twice to make sure they were clean. It had a glass window in the lid and I could see some of the clothes never went under the water?? How can that save energy and water if you have to wash them twice and still not sure if they are clean? The Speed Queen gives you the option to save water or clean your clothes. It's a little prices but the last machine came with a 10 year warranty! After I read the fine print, that covered the stainless steel tube and the motor only. The speed queen comes with a 5 year bumper to bumper including labor.

My clothes come out so clean. I absolutely amazed every time. It is so quiet, which us important to me because the washer and dryer sit right off the kitchen. I only hear the water filling and the buzzer at the end of the cycle. I wish I would have purchased speed queen years ago.

So far so good.. was a purchase to replace a 2yr old Whirlpool top loader that has been a problem from day one. Manufactures try to complicate things that should be left alone… hence the Speed Queen.. great, simple quality like it should be. When the matching dryer goes out, I'm buying the Speed Queen to replace it as well.
