Dryer takes a lot less time to dry a load of laundry much faster than my old machine. Very efficient. Many different settings for different loads.

Bought this as a set August 2020. After ruining several articles of clothing on the Normal Eco cycle, it was leaving fabric softener stains on everything, I found that setting it on large load/heavy duty cycle seems to eliminate this problem. However, for getting your clothes clean, I think my 20 year old machine, different brand, was doing a better job. Maybe getting it repaired would have been the wiser choice?

I love my new Speed Queen washer! I have had it for a couple of months now and it has been a blessing. My old washer was one of those water saving machines and many times I had to re-do a load because it just didn't come clean. It also needed repair in the 4 years that I had it. I hated it and asked the repair man for advice on replacing it and he said Speed Queen was the best. I took his advice and i am so happy I did! I have not had to re-do a single load.

We are very happy with the whole experience! The Grand Appliance employee was very attentive to our needs in what we wanted in a washing machine and having it delivered in a timely manner.
The washing machine delivery men were very friendly and skilled. They were able to set it up in record time and be on their way.
We are extremely pleased with the washer and find it quiet and the spin cycle does so well that the clothing does not need to be in the dryer as long.

I have owned multiple brands of laundry and at various levels of efficiency and performance. Speed Queen is HANDS DOWN the BEST I have ever owned! The entry level model is leaps and bounds more superior to even the highest end of other brand name machines available. One of the appeal points for me was the basic operation. There just seems to be a trend of adding ridiculous amounts of options to machines these days for something that has a single real function of cleaning your clothes. As soon as I need the dryer I will also be purchasing a Speed Queen brand in that.

Do not like the "new" way of washing clothes without the agitator that moves the clothes. Feel like the clothes don't get clean. I loved my older model and thought that's what I was getting when we ordered this set for our new house. Also HATE the locking mechanism.

I like the machine. I have no problems with the way it cleans. This is my third Speed Queen washer. My problem with all of them is the softener dispenser. the clothes are always sitting in softener at the end of the rinse spinout.

So far, we have not figured out how to get my husband's pants clean (he's a drywall finisher, and in our previous, old 25-year-old Kenmore, they always came clean!) - they honestly look like they haven't even been washed. Any hints how to actually get them to come clean would be appreciated, as it is disappointing.
