First time purchasing a Speed Queen washing machine. I heard great things about the brand. Positives: the longevity of the brand itself, it's a quiet machine while in use. Negatives: Expensive,options during washing cycles are limited, lots of suds even with following the trouble shooting directions on the washing machine manual. Having to re-wash my load of laundry more often than not.

We purchased this machine because of a space problem and thought the price was very high. Fast forward about a month in, this machine is wonderful!! It automatically fills, is quiet and does a great job; and all without being overly complicated. It also comes with has a great warranty at no extra cost. We are older and not into technology. I highly recommend this machine.

This washer was purchased after returning a lower priced other brand that was terribly loud. This brand is quality all the way. The auto-fill option keeps the guesswork out of load size selection. Sturdy enough to wash bathroom rugs. Love this washer.

Overall, really like the washer, however, it does not have a couple of features that my wife wanted. She wanted a separate rinse and drain function also wants to be able to set her own water level and still have a second rinse.

This machine does an Excellent Job Fast and Well , It's Spin Cycle gets More Water Out so it takes about 40 minutes to Dry a Load that used to take 60 minutes !
The other Newer Machine Brands are Designed to Save Power and Water , So they Struggle to Clean Clothes and I'm SICK of Them !

I am so glad I purchased a Speed Queen washer. My last Whirlpool lasted 2 whole years. I did my homework this time on what to buy. After the first use I noticed stains that I thought were set in were gone. I think it is quiet especially compared to my last machine. It does not go off level and if it did, it is east to re-level it again. The wash cycles are quick and I like the deep fill feature. It is a basic washer but it does everything I need it to do. I am thrilled with my purchase.

I'm unable to wash what I consider a full Load of clothes. If the load is too full, machine cuts off and doesn't spin. I'm talking around 7-8 towels is max number I'm able to wash at one time.

This is truly a commercial grade washing machine. My wife loves it and uses it almost every day. I wish we had bought it years ago. Very quiet, and she says she can smell that the clothes are cleaner when she takes them out to dry them. Our next purchase will be a Speed Queen dryer to match our new washing machine.

Washing machine is restrictive to putting in detergent, bleach, and softener, once the lid locks. The washer's agitation seems slow and the softener doesn't fully vacate the cylinder that holds it.

Machine is one month old and out of the 10 loads I have washed, it hasn't gone off balance. However, it does not have a glass window in the lid which would be ok, but it locks the lid as soon as it starts agitating so you have to keep unlocking the machine to see if it has enough detergent and enough water to cover the load size. I also believe it sprays the clothes in the rinse cycle as I don't hear water running to fill the tub again as it does for the wash
cycle. Disappointed that I paid top dollar and I can't give it a perfect rating.

I have had my top loader washer for over a month. It is quiet and washes well. I replaced a front loader Samsung whose circuit board had gone caput after only 5 yrs without heavy use. Decided it was worth the investment of 2.5-3 times as much in this machine with mechanical parts for it to hopefully last 5 times as long.

The 3/4 rotation turn during agitation forces your water /and detergent through your clothes so thoroughly you will not NEED to use scented detergents.
Aside from the mixing water inlet valve failing close to the end of the warranty (replaced in-home under warranty), I have been thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

I am a licensed appliance service provider, in the ten years I've serviced appliances, I've been called for speed queen only twice, so when I needed a new washer I bought speed queen. I thought it was the best but first I had problems with it leaving fabric softener on my clothes so I stopped using fabric softener, I then had issues with my clothes coming out dirty even after washing more than once, I can find no service for this issue. I am starting to regret my $1200 purchase.

The washer would not start after having only 10 months. Since no Speed Queen repairman will come to Cedar Key, FL, we paid someone to help my husband, who is 70 years old, load the machine in his truck to Badcock in Crystal
River, where we purchased the machine (58 miles away). When we picked up the machine we were told it worked fine and only needed to be reset by pressing start for 3 seconds; however when I returned home and did this nothing will happen. Still without a washer for over two months.
