Very happy with this machine! It's so sturdy, quiet and it does a great job! A friend had talked about Speed Queen as being a very reliable product. We had not considered Speed Queen before, but we are so glad we did. I think we might be converts.

This is truly a commercial grade washing machine. My wife loves it and uses it almost every day. I wish we had bought it years ago. Very quiet, and she says she can smell that the clothes are cleaner when she takes them out to dry them. Our next purchase will be a Speed Queen dryer to match our new washing machine.

Washing machine is restrictive to putting in detergent, bleach, and softener, once the lid locks. The washer's agitation seems slow and the softener doesn't fully vacate the cylinder that holds it.

Machine is one month old and out of the 10 loads I have washed, it hasn't gone off balance. However, it does not have a glass window in the lid which would be ok, but it locks the lid as soon as it starts agitating so you have to keep unlocking the machine to see if it has enough detergent and enough water to cover the load size. I also believe it sprays the clothes in the rinse cycle as I don't hear water running to fill the tub again as it does for the wash
cycle. Disappointed that I paid top dollar and I can't give it a perfect rating.

I have had my top loader washer for over a month. It is quiet and washes well. I replaced a front loader Samsung whose circuit board had gone caput after only 5 yrs without heavy use. Decided it was worth the investment of 2.5-3 times as much in this machine with mechanical parts for it to hopefully last 5 times as long.

It might be to soon to review, but no issues so far. Easy to use, no electronics, just a dial and push a button to start. Clean clothes well and dry in a short time. Quieter than our last washer/dryer.

Our Speed Queen was delivered the next day, installed. So far, we love it! It is so much faster than our old washer. Clothes come out smelling good and clean! Even though it was pricey, we anticipate it lasting 15-20 years!

I've had quite a few washers in my lifetime and Speed Queen is by far the best! I was so surprised that there was such a difference. Our clothes are so much cleaner than before! The 3/4 rotation turn during agitation forces your water /and detergent through your clothes so thoroughly you will not NEED to use scented detergents.
Aside from the mixing water inlet valve failing close to the end of the warranty (replaced in-home under warranty), I have been thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

I am a licensed appliance service provider, in the ten years I've serviced appliances, I've been called for speed queen only twice, so when I needed a new washer I bought speed queen. I thought it was the best but first I had problems with it leaving fabric softener on my clothes so I stopped using fabric softener, I then had issues with my clothes coming out dirty even after washing more than once, I can find no service for this issue. I am starting to regret my $1200 purchase.

The washer would not start after having only 10 months. Since no Speed Queen repairman will come to Cedar Key, FL, we paid someone to help my husband, who is 70 years old, load the machine in his truck to Badcock in Crystal
River, where we purchased the machine (58 miles away). When we picked up the machine we were told it worked fine and only needed to be reset by pressing start for 3 seconds; however when I returned home and did this nothing will happen. Still without a washer for over two months.

This is our first Speed Queen washer. After just a few loads it developed a significant squeak on the spin cycle. We called a local Speed Queen service provider. It took them 3 service calls to finally fix the issue. We have used it with no issues for the last week and feel the issues has been resolved. We look forward to many years of use.

I have had my speed queen washing machine for five months now and love it! I first learned about the name and the quality over five years ago. Before I bought it I called several Family owned appliance stores that carried your brand. I also watched a number Videos to assist me in determining the model to buy. I bought a simple model and it has all that I need. Cleans very well. So happy to know I bought A great quality Machine that will most likely outlive me. I plan to buy a speed queen clothes dryer once my current one no longer works. I would have loved to buy the matching pair at the same time yet finances did not allow. I definitely did not mind paying more for my speed queen because in the long run I will save lots of money and most Likely time And frustration not needing technicians to come out for problems/repairs. I love that I'm able to support a made in the USA company. Thankful that speed queen specializes exclusively in washers and dryers For many years And stand behind their products. I Tell all my friends and family about speed queen.

We can't believe the difference in how the cloths have come out with our new washer. The closes get dried in half the time and especially the towels. We have the large Sheet towels and they use to take forever to dry. We also have found the King Size sheets do not get all tangled when they are washed. We wish we had bought one years ago. I would thank our salesman and repair man instructing us on purchasing the Speed Queen.

I purchased this washer online after researching other brands. There are several things that annoy me about this speed queen. First is that the lid locks almost immediately and so you cannot see if you have enough detergent or whether you load is too big. Also the fabric softner thing does not dispense the softner. When I remove the clothes there is still softner in the bottom of the barrel. Another thing is that when I pour in some liquid bleach it immediately goes into the clothes. It is not dispensed when the barrel is full of water! And last but not least there is no option for just a rinse cycle! Sorry but I was so looking forward to getting a Speed Queen and overall I can live with what I got, I guess I should have paid more attention to the little details. As far as a recommendation? I would tell people to go to a store and check out all the little details. So there is no yes or no as to recommendation.

This was our replacement of a 2016 Speed Queen of "same" model. That machine had done approximately 10,000 washes since 2016 with . My wife and I do three or four loads a day. Our new units, we bought the washer & dryer pair, are a little larger and allow us to do fewer each day and are easier to operate plus use less water. Service has been minimal over the past years.

Only used washer for 2 months & so far it's doing what it is supposed to do. Quiet, love the auto fill and it really spins clothes to almost being dry. Replaced an Amana washer that was 30 years old that was still working. I plan on this being last one we buy as I won't be around in 30 years. So hopefully for the higher price washer it will last.

After owning another brand for 22 years with no issues, I splurged on a new Speed Queen set as I moved into a new home. The washer does not always use hot water when HOT is selected, and the dryer fails to shut off once clothes are dry. I must monitor it to avoid a potential fire. I am awaiting a repair so I hope it is covered under the warranty.

When it works, it works great. But less than a month after purchase, machine would not spin after final rinse. Had it serviced under warranty, and it worked for a while, but having the same problem again. Haven't been able to get in touch with customer service because their phone number isn't working properly.
