Got tired of the disposable products with options that I didn't use, anyway. This is a back-to-basics washing machine that does what it's supposed to….cleans clothes! Call it retro, old-fashioned, or whatever you like, but this machine is the best appliance purchase I've made in a long time. Now I can't wait for my dryer to go so I can get the matching Speed Queen. ☺️

Simple controls, washes clothes with full water level. There is an issue with bubbles coming out of the standpipe during the end of the spin cycle. The adapter included is installed to help eliminate this issue, there is no clogs, changed to a low sudsing detergent. After about few weeks it is not as frequent, with that being said you still need to check machine during spin cycle to wipe up bubbles coming out of the standpipe to avoid damaging the wall.

After four weeks of trying to get it fixed because I received a faulty washing machine, it's been great. The hassle of trying to get it fixed has not been worth it. Especially since speed queen refuses to replace a washing machine that is brand new and doesn't work. They would rather.come back every three days and keep changing out parts. Which has been a huge hassle

I love ,love, love,my new Speed Queen washer!!! It is so nice to have a washing machine that will actually get my clothes clean! My previous washer was a "water saver" with a lid lock. I hated that thing with a passion! My clothes NEVER seemed to get clean enough. And to wash one load could take anywhere from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours to wash.
This Speed Queen only takes 27 minutes! And my clothes are actually very clean! I appreciate the 5 year warranty that it came with. I feel that this washer is an excellent quality machine.

We've found the machine easy to operate and does an excellent job getting our clothes clean. We very much like the simple to use controls. The unit is easy to clean. We expect a life-time of use and its sturdy construction makes that seem quite feasible. We believe in buying USA manufactured products and this product makes it easy to understand why its the best.

I had bought a brand new Maytag. It's just me and my husband in our household. We do not have any pets. We are senior citizens. Our laundry is lightly soiled. In the past I have had kids, dogs, cats and I washed hair towels from a hair salon where I worked. So my Kenmore got a work out. My new Maytag had 6 repairs in 3 years. New motor, drain pump, and electric panel. Maytag would not replace it. My clothes weren't getting clean 😕. A friend had just purchased a new Speed Queen. I was so impressed. The metal man took the Maytag and I bought this Speed Queen. My clothes are finally clean. I love the no lock feature. The simple look makes me feel at home

I love my speed queen washer. Compared to my Samsung washer that we got rid of it washes a load in 1/3 the time and makes my water and electric bill less. The one complaint I have is it seems to leave a bit of detergent on the bottom of the tub. Much better at spinning the clothes and all in all I am pleased.

The Speed queen washing machine we bought had a bad motor. It had issues from the beginning but didn't stop working until a year and 3 months later. Speed Queen does honor their parts warranty so we set up an appointment with their repairman and he replaced the motor at no cost. It was bad luck that we got a machine with an issue but overall I give the company a solid 5 stars,

So far not good. Washes clothes really well. It is one month old from buying it. It is leaking water. Called for warranty 5 days ago and haven't seen or heard from anyone. So it washes good but haven't been able to use it all week.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This machine is so fast it makes laundry day a breeze. I love the "bulky" setting for heavy sheets, etc. Also love the no lock lid for times you realize you forgot or dropped something.

I think it cleans better than my previous speed queen. I am so glad that the lid does not lock. My only complaint is that the water stops filling when I open the lid. I liked to rinse the soap cup.

My husband and I love our new speed queen washer. It does a great job and is well worth the extra money that we paid for it. I wouldn't trade it for anything. It doesn't use as much soap, and it has a superior warranty. We were done with washers that last 10 years if you're lucky.

i have had for less than 2 weeks! I am so so glad i purchased these machines! Washes ASAP! My lg I would wait 1 hour or more, SQ half the time I am 100% happy with this machine. some say loud, to me I do not hear it being Loud! I am computer literate, and This machine is just simple to use! Does what it says! Love the No lid lock. I am short and always had a hard time getting those socks out of my lg tub, not this i can reach in and get them with no problem. LOVE the dryer, it too is so simple to use! I do not need a ton of options. Get straight to the point, and dry my clothes in record time. the lint catch is so easy to clean, not my LG, it was horrible to take out the lint catch and then I had to clean inside where it goes a real hassle. I love my machines, and THE BLACK is beautiful! THANK YOU TO THE SPEED QUEEN CO. AND ITS EMPLOYEES FOR MAKING A GREAT QUALITY PRODUCT THAT WILL STAND THE TEST OF TIME. Great washer! My other old broken washer (GE) lasted nearly 6 years. But was leaving stains in our clothes for several years. This new Speed Queen cleaned all our clothes so bright and soft and even cleaned the strains that the old washers made. This new Speed Queen is doing a great job! I recommend it to all. It is fast and efficient! Quite too! We love it. Well worth the money!
