Both the washer and dryer work great. The washer works better than any other washer we've owned and that smell with the front loader is gone. Dryer dries effectively.

This machine has a professional look and feel, and has a ton of settings. It also accepts a really large load with no problem, and is much quieter than our last dryer. It also just works better- it dries loads faster and more thoroughly. We're very pleased with the performance.

The dryer does not dry as I expected. Example: 2 bath towels & 2 hand towels set on regular cycle, dry. Time was 74 min & still somewhat damp.

I bought the pair, the washer and dryer. I've had front loaders for over 25 years and decided to go back to top loading machines . So glad I made the switch. I have no problems using these new units. Clothes come out very clean

Very pleased with my purchase. I talked to several people before making my decision on what brand to get. Everyone said Speed Queen hands down. That is the only brand I looked and I am so pleased with my purchase. I went from a front load to a top load. Wasn't sure if I would be happy with a top load, but I am loving it

I've wanted to buy Speed Queen products for years. After 30 years with a Maytag set, we finally moved and left the dependable Maytags behind. I've known people that bought other brands in recent years and weren't thrilled with them. The Speed Queen set appears just as durable as appliances used to be. I enjoy having clean clothes again! Agitators and water are a must, and why the Speed Queen washers paired with their durability/warranty are the way to go. I especially enjoy the "Pet Hair Remover" on the dryer as I have a golden retriever. It works very well on clothes and blankets.

My clothes are actually dry in one dry cycle! I love that the proper filling amount on the washer is equal to the proper filling amount of the dryer so that my clothes actually get dry! I love the drying sensor! I also love the pet features!
The only things I wish were different, was that the door opened downward rather than to the side, and for lint to not get stuck between the lint trap and opening lip for the door.

This washer and dryer replaced 2008 Kenmore Elite - that dryer was a good dryer, but the Speedqueen - although smaller in capacity - they are quieter and have all the functions of top end washer/dryer models we reviewed. The washer is a dream come true as the Kenmore washer was extremely noisy from the time we purchased it thur disposal We've been thoroughly surprised by the Speed Queen plus performance, and how it compared/compares to other dryers with higher capacity.

I purchased my dryer in September 2022. Loved it until August 2024. Gets stuck at 5 minutes. They've determined the control panel needs replaced. Still waiting for the part.i think someone dropped the ball in ordering it on August 15th. They've rescheduled the repair 3 times. The part shows it will arrive 9-11 and the repair is scheduled for the 12th. All of this is concerning to me on such a new dryer that's used about 3 times a month.

We love our Speed Queen Dryer, it was one of the best purchases we have ever made. The clothes actually fully dry with this dryer unlike our Samsung with the sensor that would stop the dryer why they were still damp. Purchasing the version with the steamer has been an incredible smart decision as it not only replaced our stand alone clothes steam but it also works better.

I purchased a speed queen washer and dryer and within a year the dryers heating element went out. Not a huge problem as those are relatively easy to swap out. However, the warranty coverage was less than ideal. Between the struggle to find someone in my local area and the very store bought it from not being on list (despite frequent inquiries trying to get on the list), it took almost a week to find someone. Once I did, it took a month for the warranty shop to both order parts and fit us into their schedule. We use our machine every day (4 kids plus daycare) and a month without a dryer was a big problem for us and ultimately cost us additional money and time with having to go to a laundromat to wash and dry our clothes. At the end of the day speedqueen did make it right, but it was not without its hassles.
Beyond that, the machines have worked well and we are very happy with them. The do a great job cleaning and drying clothes. Easy to install. Easy to maintain as a user.

This dryer is great. We use it on LP propane and it works well. I like the cycles for pet things, like rugs and blankets. I use the Heavy Duty setting most often, as I wash towels a lot. Heavy duty works well for jeans as well. It is so well lit inside, that I don't miss those grey socks that used to get left behind! It's big enough to dry my queen sized comforter as well.
